An artist who also writes like this — that’s a real rarity. I have a deep love for symbolists. Respect

“Infinity”, Larisa Ruy
100×100 cm, acrylic, gilding, handmade, signature technique.
In ancient legends, yarrow was called “the flower that remembers the first wind.”
They say that when the world was still young, there were no gardens, no fields — only the wind, carrying the promise of life.
Yarrow was the first to accept that promise.
It rooted in barren soil, survived storms, and learned to bloom where others would not.
That is why yarrow became a symbol of free will: the strength to grow against odds, to endure without support, to shine without needing the sun.
In Infinity, yarrow forms an unbroken circle of quiet defiance and life.
Its white clusters rise from a sacred mandala, framed by a golden ornamental field — a memory of ancient promises: to persist, to believe, to begin again.
This work is not about beauty.
It is about presence.
It is not about fragility.
It is about force that doesn’t need to prove itself.
The painting is now part of a private collection in Ukraine.
Original work. One of a kind.
